Konnor is 11 months!!!
Konnor,
you turned 11 months old on March 24 but mama is so behind on everything. I am enjoying my last few weeks with a baby until you turn into a toddler. It has been such an amazing 11 months. You are the most wonderful baby and you have the best personality.
You weigh 22.5 lbs and are 30 inches long! You wear a size 4 diaper, size 4 shoe and size 12 months or 12-18 months depending on where it is from! You LOVE to eat! I feel like you snack all day long but you are always on the move so you are working it off. You no longer take a bottle! You get 4-5 sippy cups a day/night of formula. We only give them to you at bedtime and naptime. You eat 3 meals a day and usually 2 snacks a day as well. Grilled cheese sandwiches and apple slices are your favorite! Im so glad you are not a picky eater!
You still arent real great in the sleep department but you are alot better so Im not complaining! You wake up for the day about 6:30-7 and are ready for a nap about 10. Depending on where we are, who is over here or if we have anything to do for the day, you will normally nap for about 2 hours and wont be ready for another nap till about 4 that afternoon. I dont normally let you nap longer than 1.5 hours on that one or you wont sleep that night. You go to bed about 9 pm and wake up twice in the night for milk. You still sleep in the bed with us but I dont mind. I love having you in the bed because that means we get to cuddle late at night (:
You are a very smart baby! You can say "mama" "dada" "poppa" "baby" "hi" "bye bye" and "no". You can stand up by yourself and you almost have walking down pat. You arent doing it by yourself yet but you are so close! You are barely holding on when you walk so I think by your birthday you will have it down pat. You can shake your head no when we say "no no" You can drink out of a straw and feed yourself with a spoon. You can also wave bye bye! I cant believe the things you have learned these past few months! Way to much for me to list! I have it wrote down in your baby book though (:
You got to experience your first snow in March. Crazy Alabama weather! You love the outdoors, Bubble Guppies, your best friend Sophia, your paci, and riding in your wagon! You have 4 teeth and love to use them to bite with! You are such a sweet baby but you do have your mean ways! You never cease to amaze me everyday with how silly you are and how happy you are after naps or when you first wake up! You are not shy and will wave at anyone that talks to you and give kisses to me randomly, which melts my heart! You know what you want and will scream and pitch a fit when we dont let you have it.
Mommy loves you Konnor Bryant!

My sick baby...
Please keep my sweet Konnor in your prayers. We went to the dr Friday and Konnor had the croup and they put him on steroids. Yesterday, I noticed his cough was way worse, his nose was pouring, he sounded real wheezy and he was chocking when he slept. I took him back to the doctor today and he now has RSV. He feels miserable! He wants to play and crawl around but he gets so hot and ends up chocking. He has became really attached to me now, more than usual, and will just whine at night. I really can't wait for him to feel better. His doctor said it will take around 1-2 weeks to get over this. He is also very contagious to anyone under 1. He is on a different medicine and if he don't get better by Friday we will go back and he will be put on breathing treatments. Again, please keep my sweet baby in your prayers!

Christmas Fun...
I'm late on every post I do so why should Konnor's first Christmas post be any different? LOL
We had our first live Christmas tree this year and Konnor loved it!! I still say that this how the reason he started crawling because once the tree was up, he wanted to crawl and would just sit by the tree. I think he was very upset when we took it down, he cried when we started taking it out the door.
We went to two Christmas parades and Konnor just loved the fire trucks! Justin is a fire fighter so he got to be in both the parades and Konnor would just start smiling and kicking when he saw them coming! The parades were in the beginning of December so it wasn't that cold just yet but he still got to wear those cute red and white Christmas overalls from Gymboree!
We went to a place called Noccalula Falls and looked at the Christmas lights. It was so neat. You ride the train to get a few of what all is there, then you can walk it, which took us nearly 2 hours to walk. They also had Santa visits, a place to make cookies and hot chocolate, reindeers and a petting zoo. It was very nice! Konnor loved looking at all the lights and would just look from side to side so he wouldn't miss a thing.
It was really cold so we kept him in his stroller and wrapped so many blankets around him that when we got back to the car he was sweating lol. You can tell by his red nose though how cold it was.
Santa also came!!!! And boy was Konnor a good boy! He got lots of presents but of course he was more into the wrapping paper and the boxes than he was the actual gifts.
This was the one toy he seemed excited about and it was a bath toy. I told y'all that boy loves his baths!! He got some really nice gifts from his cousins and grandparents as well. He got a wagon, a ball pit, a walking toy, DVD players for the car and lots of Mickey Mouse toys!
This picture makes me laugh because it looks like he is saying "stay away all these toys are mine!" We can't wait for the weather to get warm so we can ride him around the neighborhood in his wagon. Right now, rides around the house will just have to make do.
We had an amazing first Christmas as a family of three. We saw Santa twice, saw Christmas lights, parades, watched many Christmas movies, had 5 Christmas dinners and Santa came :) I know next year will be more exciting but this year was amazing! Being a mom makes Christmas that much better!!!!

Konnor, the big cousin :)
Konnor became a big cousin on Friday, January 4, 2013 :) I also finally got me a sweet little niece to spoil :)
Kennedy Ryan was born on January 4 at 11:17 am weighing 7lbs 4oz and 20 inches long. Her and Konnor were exactly the same except Konnor was 1/2 in bigger!
Konnor isn't a big fan of her but her big brother kayden is so in love with her! He won't let anyone around her unless he is right there beside her!
She is such a sweet baby and I'm loving all these newborn cuddles again :) we are so blessed to have her join our family :)

7 and 8 Months! :)
Konnor, you turned 8 months old on Christmas Eve but mommy is bad at blogging and skipped two whole monthly post.
You have learned and changed so much in the past two months. It's so unbelievable! You also had many firsts and got to experience many new things! I just wanna say how amazing of a baby that you are and I'm so lucky to be your mommy!
Development
Oh boy, where do I begin on what all you have learned and achieved ? You can officially crawl now! And oh goodness, you crawl fast! Anything you see that you want, you are determined to get it right then! You started off by rocking back and forth then one day you just seemed to get it! You can also pull up on anything and stand there. You have ventured to holding on with one hand which has caused many boo-boos already and many tears from mommy! You are walking across the couch but are to scared to let go or to use your walking toy. I know one day you'll just let go and run for it just like with crawling.
nutrition
You have changed a good bit in this department too and took mommy for a whirlwind. You are an eater and that's never changed but what you want to eat is the problem. You take 6oz of Similac Sensitive every 2-2 1/2 hours. You were taking baby food 3 times a day and a snack in between when you decided that baby food was just gross and you wanted table food. I struggled with this because me and daddy don't really eat that healthy and we tried to bump it up for you. I started making you whole grain muffins in the morning for breakfast. Veggies like carrots, peas, green beans or potatoes for lunch and then supper we add meat, veggies and a banana. Thankfully, yesterday you let me feed you some baby food and that makes mommy feel better because then I know you are eating right.
sleep
This one kinda feels like a joke. If there was a club for sleep haters, I'm more than positive you would be the president. You wake up for the day around 6-6:30 am as my extremely happy baby. I love those morning goggles from you :) you take your first nap around 11 am and sleep till about 1 pm. Then another nap around 4pm till about 4:30-5. Then bedtime comes about 8:30 now. You hate to be rocked so we just lay you down beside us and let you play yourself to sleep in the bed. You are still waking up atleast 3-4 times a night. You still sleep in mommy and daddy's bed but we are going to work on that this week because you sir are a bed hog! LOL
health
You are a big boy! You are somewhere around 21 pounds and about 28-29 inches long. You wear 6-12 clothes and some 12 months. You are in a size 3 diaper but I may move you up soon because you seem to be peeing through your diaper alot. You have a little cold now. You have a semi- bad cough but an awfully runny nose. You act fine during the day but its nighttime that seems to be where the runny nose part bothers you. I'm so thankful you got the flu shot because alabama has the most reported flu cases. Praying you don't get it!
loves
You are such a happy baby and are very happy to please. There is not much that makes you mad, other than mommy not letting you get in the tree. You LOVE taking big boy baths because of all your bath toys and the washcloth. You could play in there forever. Cheerios are your favorite snack and your paci is your best friend. You got lots of new toys for Christmas and your wagon and the LOL Elmo are probably your favorite. You love to bang everything on the table and laugh and peek-a-boo is so funny to you. You say "hi" all the time and "mama" when you are upset. Also, you love your new big boy carseat :)
Overall, your the best baby ever! You make everyone smile that you see and everyone falls in love with your red hair and blue eyes. I never knew I could love someone as much as I love you. Me and you are always together and you make me the happiest mommy ever! I love you Konnor Bryant!
