Bones, Muscules, and Diseases... OH MY!

This title pretty much describes my life right now. If I'm not at college I'm either at home studying my Anatomy and Microbiology, or I'm at work hoping for it to be a slow day so I can study. This has taken over my life... BUT, I need it to get into the nursing program.

On that note, I had someone ask me the other day what my back up plan was if I didnt get into the Nursing Program. My answer was simply "I dont have a back up plan" Then I got the are you dumb look, you know the eyes squint, eyebrows scrunch up and look all funky, yeah that look.  So, you may ask "Ashley, why dont you have a back up plan" well great question. The answer is because I dont need one. I know exactly where I belong and where I see my life in the next few years. I feel that God would have not placed the desire in my heart to do Pediatric Oncology Nursing if I couldn't get into the Nursing Program. Do I sometimes doubt myself? Yes, but I know that my God knows what is best for me and he is leading me exactly where I need to be. He is along side me every step of the way pushing me. I hear so many negative comments "Oh, wow I cant believe you wanna be around sick babies all the time" "You know you'll probably back out right?" anything you can think of, I've heard it all. But all I need to keep me going is praying to my God and begging him to show me that I'm going into the right field. He does that everyday, I feel that I would not happen to see the St. Jude commericals everyday if God didnt want me in that field. I feel that God wouldn't have allowed me to meet a sweet sweet little boy who had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor off his brain. All these are signs that I'm doing exactly what God plans for me to do. And I praise him for giving me the strength to not let these negative comments bring me down but most importantly, for giving me the strength and the knowledge to want to do this.

I know this was a random and long post but I felt it was needed to say that way if someone else is being degraded for any choice they are making in their life, just know that God is the one who holds our life in his hands. It's all up to him. For that, I will forever praise him!!!!

Football :)

We played our first season game last night and won 34-7! Football is a huge thing where I come from! We are bred to do nothing but either watch it or play it. We are always really good in football and always go to the playoffs and a few years ago we were 2A State Runner-Ups. For the past 3 years we were undeafted and hoping for the same this year! :)We won Team of the Week this week and it's an amazing feeling to start the year off this great! Especially since my wonderful little brother plays! Go #82, I love you! Wish us luck this season!

Miscellany Monday...

1. I started my Sophomore Year of College today, it's so hard for me to believe!

Im only taking 2 classes this semester but they are very important because they determine whether or not I can get into the Nursing Program. I get to apply this Spring! :)

Confused...

Can someone tell me how to comment back to people who comment on my blog. I always feel so rude because I have so much I wanna say to my wonderful readers but yet, I can't. Some help would be nice please :)

Just want to start off and say, I am in no way receiving anything for these reviews. I am in no way a beauty product expert either but these are new products that I have been using and wanted to inform everyone and see if ya'll had any suggestions on better products :)

First, I use the Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner

I got this at Rite-Aid for $6.99

BUT I got the conditioner for FREE with my Wellness Card! :)

It smells amazing and makes my hair so smooth!

For my body wash I use Clean and Clear Boost Body Wash

It is supposed to wake you up

I dunno if it really does because showers do that for me

But it does smell really good

And I got it for $2.99 with coupons

Next, which I mentioned yesterday I use Biotera Leave-In Conditioner

I got this at Sally's for $5.99 with My Beauty Card!

It smells even more amazing than the above shampoo!!

You can constantly catch me sniffing my hair throughout the day!

AHHHH HEAVEN IN A BOTTLE! :)

Next, I use Tresemme Hairspray

I got this for $2.50 at work with a coupon

I use this to keep my bangs in place throughout the day

It is the only kind I have found so far that doesn't make my hair look crispy!

I have started using E.L.F. Makeup

We carry it at work but I've always thought makeup for $3 cant work

well after many recommendations, I tried it

AND I LOVE IT!!!

Bingo for cheap but wonderful makeup :)

Wet n Wild Nail Polish

I got this at Rite-Aid for 69 cents with my Wellness Card

Its not the best kind because it peels off quick

but I love the color I've picked!

I do need help picking out other colors to paint my nails because I'm getting tired of Hot Pink and also I need suggestions for a better but cheaper straightner.

Bragging on my Lord!!!

I feel like I never say enough how amazing my God is! He knows exactly what I need and never fails to beyond what I could ever imagine. My family has been struggling with money with school starting back and having to pay for college and all. My whole family sat down one night and prayed to God that he would show us a better way to manage our money and help us. Not even a week later, my dad got an AMAZING job offer that he couldn't help but accept! A week ago, his old employer sent him a gift card to wal-mart in the mail thanking him for his time. This week I won a giveaway that I'm using as a Christmas gift. And then yesterday, I got a gift card to Kmart in the mail thanking me for being a hard working employee. All in TWO weeks, our God provided for us in such an amazing way and we couldn't be more thankful! It's things like this that prove to me how wonderful of a God I serve!

My little brother plays Varsity Football and every year they have fan day. It is where everyone comes out and takes pictures with the football players and wishes them good luck on their season. Here are some pictures from Fan Day this year!

Makeup Ideas???

I'm not really much of a makeup gal, but I wanna be. I just stink at putting makeup on and making it look nice. So, any advice anyone has on easy ways to do my makeup and making it look pretty, I'll take it :)

oh, and what makeup is y'alls favorite? not to expensive though, i do only work a minimum wage job here people lol.

Bad Parenting...

I see all sorts of parents in my job.
 Good parents.
 Bad parents.
 Parents who let their kids run around like hellions.
 Parents who keep germ x attached to their kids' hands {this will be me}
Today, I saw possibly the biggest Bitch ever {sorry}!!!!!! I was working Layaway and you can't put clearance on layaway, well this skanky nasty piece of lady {i know i shouldn't judge but ya'll, she deserves to be called way worse} comes in with clearance clothes for her kids and lingerie for herself {gag}. When I told her she couldn't put 3 outfits on layaway, she told her kids "sorry mommy and daddy need these underclothes more than you need school clothes" the little girl cried and the mom whopped her more than I ever seen before and called her a needy brat.
Don't get me wrong, I was raised getting my tail beat in public and I'm all for a good butt spanking but that was just rude and horrible of her!!!! I was so angry that I just walked off and left that skank ass back there alone.

Uhhh, WIPEOUT && Complete Skill...

Has anyone else ever seen the show Wipeout? It's possibly one of the funniest shows ever. Me and Justin die out laughing every time we watch it because we can't believe people actually do this stuff for money! Like I'm sure they are completely bruised and beaten when they finish this game show. You have gotta watch it if you've never seen it!!!!

Also, we love America's Got Talent. Our favorite is Team iLLUMINATE! I mean this is complete skill to be able to dance like this IN THE DARK and not kill your other dance partners. Watch this video from their performance last night, you'll love them to I'm sure! :)


Stayed tuned for a post sometime this week of the recovery efforts my town has made since the tornado hit our county. It's amazing how fast we are growing again :)

I, along with the rest of the world, am addicted to COUPONING!!! I am not one of those crazy ladies you see on tv that have outrageous stockpiles of stuff they will never use, because you're not really saving if you're buying pointless things. I do, however, do have a teeny tiny stockpile of bath products. BUT, I will always need to smell and look nice. I only use coupons for makeup, bathroom products and clothes so I'm not that great of a couponer, but I still live with my parents so thats all I really need to buy. Yesterday, my total was $54 and I only spent $18 after coupons. I always get a bunch of Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupons, those are the best! Who else coupons? What are your major coupons buys? and where do you get all your coupons from? I love hearing from you guys :)


Me and Justin found this video yesterday and we fell in love! He is only TEN years old and he can rap like it's nothing! All he pretty much says is OKAY THEN but it's cute at his age lol and I just love that Fruit Loops Gold Chain of his!
